Most of us begin to panic at the initial signs of acne and want to visit the dermatologist at the first possible opportunity. However, is there any guarantee that the medications provided by him or her will not have any side effects on your health? Why do you not opt for a natural line of treatment? In case you do not know, there are numerous natural acne remedies and witch hazel is one of them. The best advantage of opting for natural remedies is that they are devoid of chemicals hence there is hardly any chance of side effects.

Apart from this, herbal cures cost much less than other types of treatment. Witch hazel for acne is one of the most popular organic treatments available. For the uninitiated, witch hazel is a genus of flowering plants that belong to the hamamelidaceae family. Apart from being used to cure acne, witch hazel is also used as an astringent to cure various other ailments like laryngitis and hemorrhoids. The bark, twigs, and leaves of this plant are rich in tannins giving these plant astringent properties. In case you did not know, astringents are substances that have the capability to harden, tighten, and dry up tissues.

You can use witch hazel on your skin to remove excess oil and to tighten the pores of the same. Apart from the properties mentioned above, witch hazel also contains flavonoids, resins, and procyanides that provide it with anti-inflammatory and soothing properties. These properties help to prevent the formation and inflammation of acne. The astringent properties of this plant minimize pores and cleanse the skin in a gentle way. It has no side effects on the skin that are often observed by those who opt for chemical based commercial astringents.

The extracts of witch hazel are available in the form of creams and lotions that can be applied on the affected areas to provide instant relief. The tannin acid found in abundance in witch hazel is one of the key substances, which makes it extremely effective in fighting acne. In case you did not know, bacteria cause acne. The antibacterial properties of witch hazel helps fight those bacteria and at the same time prevent the outbreak of any more acne. Apart from this, witch hazel for acne has the ability to reduce the redness and swelling that is associated with pimples and cystic acne.

Though there are several chemical based astringents, none of them cleanse the skin as gently as witch hazel can. Being organic in nature, witch hazel is gentle on the skin. Hence you can be assured that there will hardly be any side effects from using the same. Lotions and creams manufactured using witch hazel should be applied on the affected area two times a day… once in the morning and once at night before retiring to bed. You should not overdo this task else, you might end up with dry skin. Try witch hazel for acne and see the wonders it does for you within a few days.

So you’ve heard about Exposed Skin Care and would like to find out more about whether it is as effective as everyone says. For this review, I’ll be sharing my experiences with this awesome product. I won’t be covering any general information about Exposed Skin Care because I think their official website have done an excellent job with that.

Just in case you haven’t heard about Exposed Skin Care, visit Exposed Skin Care Official Website.

Now coming on to the big question…

Does Exposed Skin Care Work?

My answer is YES! It has work wonders for me. You can tell just by looking at my pictures found in this blog. But I’m sure that’s not a good enough reason to convince you so here are my thoughts on why Exposed Skin Care works so well unlike any other acne treatments you come across online.

Exposed Skin Care works well because it is the most complete acne treatment out there. Complete as in it treats acne both internally and on the surface. The reason why so many acne creams, cleansers and moisturizers fail to prevent acne is plainly because they don’t help your body combat acne from within!

With that said, a lot of my credits go to Exposed Skin Care’s Probiotic Complex! Without this, I don’t think the Exposed Skin Care Acne Treatment Kit would have worked that well for me. The Probiotic Complex is there to fill the missing gap that we’ve all overlooked. That is… a convenient way to treat acne from within our body!

Please Take Note! The Exposed Skin Care Basic & Expanded Kit does not include the Probiotic Complex. You will have to manually add it from the products page if you are planning to order the Basic or Expanded Kit.

My advice would be to just order the Ultimate 9-Piece Kit just like what I did. This is just to ensure that you are getting a complete treatment from Exposed Skin Care.

Problems with Exposed Skin Care

Their Ultimate 9-Piece Kit is pricey! The Kit costs almost $100 making it one of the most expensive acne treatment kits around. But I still went ahead with it because it was recommended and risk free (they offered a 30 day money back guarantee). I had the idea that if it didn’t work, I would send it back for a refund. As of today, I believe they are offering a 1-Year-Money-Back-Gaurantee.

Their auto-billing feature! This is something I really dislike about them! Please note that after ordering a kit from them, email their support and inform them that you do not wish be billed for a new set every 30 days. By default, once you order a kit from them, they will keep sending you a new set every 30 days. So it is important for you to inform them after you completed your first payment. Doing so will save you from a lot of inconvenience in future. I had to call them up and send back the second set they sent me.

Other than that, I highly recommend this product if you really want to get rid of your acne.

Besides Myself, There are thousands of others who want experienced success with Exposed Skin Care. Below are some of what they have to say…

Are you suffering from gout and are on the lookout for means to cure the same? However, before embarking on this route, you need to know a bit more about gout and its causes. It is a medical condition, which is generally characterized by recurring attacks of extreme inflammatory arthritis. This particular ailment, which is non-contagious, is generally caused by high levels of uric acid in the blood. This uric acid crystallizes and gets deposited in tendons, joints, plus surrounding tissues. Gout of the big toe is also known as podagra.
The Main Cause For Gouts

Uric acid is generated in our body when the food we eat metabolizes. A small percentage of individuals generate an excessive amount of uric acid and this result in the formation of gouts. Then there are individuals who do not have the capabilities to drain out their accumulated uric acid through urine, and they are also a key target of gout. Apart from these causes, nutrition, gender, and genetics also play a major role in the formation of gouts. Might not know it, but risk of gout is also increased amongst those who consume too much of alcoholic beverages, especially beer. It has often been observed that men fall prey to gout at an earlier age when compared to women.

As we have already mentioned above, an increase in the levels of uric acid is primarily responsible for the formation of gouts. The amount of uric acid in males increases during puberty and the same occurs in women during menopause. It is due to this reason that men are affected with gouts at an earlier age than women. Numerous other cases lead to gout and they include trauma, dehydration and starvation, chemotherapy, and certain medications. Genetics as well as age also plays a part in the cause for gouts.
Causes For Gout – What You Should Do?

If you are overweight, it is high time that you planned to reduce your weight because being overweight also enhances the risk of gouts. If you are working in an environment where there is too much of exposure to lead, then this can also lead to gouts. You need not worry in case you are suffering from this ailment, because there are various medications available for the same. These medications help reduce the levels of uric acid in the blood, thereby decreasing gout. It is advisable that you consult a physician soonest possible and take their advice. You should not attempt to take over the counter medications, because, as discussed above, certain medications also enhance gouts.

You should also remember that increased levels of blood uric acid, apart from causing gouts, could also damage your kidneys. So, how do you know whether you are suffering from gout? The commonest manifestation of this particular condition is acute pain and inflammation of a joint. This is due to the factor that the uric acid accumulates as crystals in that joint, thereby restricting its free movement. You should also control your diet and avoid foods that contain yeast, meat gravy, sardines, mussels, and herring.

Heartburn has got nothing to do with the heart, like its name otherwise suggests. This is a very common problem that many people suffer from when the acid in the stomach gets into contact with the esophagus lining, causing discomfort. Some of the symptoms of this problem includes pain in the chest, unpleasant feeling of food reentering the mouth, and a sour taste in the mouth. Though it is quite common for people to experience the symptoms one in a while, if you face it once a month it can be called mild, if once a week then it is moderate, and if you face it on a regular basis then it is severe.

Cures For Heartburn – How To Avoid

If you want to lessen your chances of experiencing heartburn then you should have certain foods in limits, including, chocolate, alcohol, garlic, coffee, fried food, sugars and soft drinks. Eating a lot before you go to bed can also result in heartburn, so you should avoid doing the same. Things that put pressure on your stomach can also result in heartburn. For instance if you wear too tight dresses, you may experience the problem. Smoking is also one of the responsible factors, so you need to avoid it if you are a smoker, and if you are not into smoking never take up the habit.

Cures For Heartburn – What Your Can Do

Now that you are aware of the causes of heartburn you also need to know the cures. The first thing that people are likely to do to cure this problem is to use an antacid. It is available in the grocery and drug stores in liquid and tablet forms. If, however, antacid does not seem to give you the desired relief then you can go in for an over-the-counter preparation to lessen the amount of acid produced by your stomach. You can seek medical help if you still get no relief. Proton-pump inhibitors are amongst the drugs that you can be prescribed to lessen the amount of acid produced in your stomach, as also to cure the irritated esophagus this is quite likely to cure you, but there are cautions that you need to be very careful about.

You can also go in for natural cures for heartburn. Ginger ale is quite helpful to ease you from the problem as it helps to absorb excess acid in the stomach and thus giving you relief. Plain white rice can also be of great help as the complex carbohydrates it contains aids in absorbing excess acid present in the stomach. So if you are seeking instant relief, cook some white rice and have it immediately.

If you experience heartburn on a regular basis, then to get relief you can drink a solution made by adding 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar to a cup of water. It will be a great idea to know about the foods that causes heartburn to you. For few weeks, write down what you’ve had when you experience heartburn and this will help your realize the food you need to avoid. A natural method for cure is far safer as the chances of side effects are rare. If, however, these methods do not seem to help much you should consult a doctor.

So you are suffering from eczema and are shunning your friends because you believe that this disease is contagious and they too will suffer from the same, if you meet them. Then there is another occasion that a friend of yours is suffering from it and you are afraid to meet him or her dreading that you might catch eczema as well. Before we proceed any further, let us understand the meaning of the term `contagious.’ It is the term given to diseases that can be passed from one person to another… like common cold. If you are suffering from common cold and sneeze, the air in your surroundings gets filled with germs and anybody in the vicinity can inhale those germs and can get affected by cold as well.

Is Eczema Contagious? Find Out!

Many other diseases are contagious as well, but not eczema. No matter how hard you try, you cannot pass eczema to your friend, and nor can they pass it on to you. The main reason behind this is that eczema is a genetic ailment that can be transmitted through reproduction only. However, it is wise to know that eczema… even though it might not be contagious… is the breeding ground of several other infections that might be contagious.

Leaky Gut Syndrome is basically a gastrointestinal disorder where the digestive tract’s intestinal lining becomes more permeable than usual because of repeated irritation. If you are suffering from leaky gut syndrome, then some of the symptoms that you might possibly be facing includes constipation, abdominal pain, heartburn, anxiety, confusion, asthma, poor immunity, skin rashes, and so on. Some of the causes of leaky gut syndrome includes the consumption of certain medications, nutritional deficiency, inhalation of chemicals and environmental toxins, food allergies, chronic stress, consumption of too much of alcohol and caffeine.

Leaky Gut Syndrome Treatment – Some Advice

Your diet plays a very important role in the treatment of leaky gut syndrome. You should have food that contains natural antimicrobial properties like, leeks, onions, fenugreek, hot chili, turmeric, lemon juice, gingerroot, rosemary and mustard. Cruciferous vegetables are crucial as they have detoxifying properties. With that said, you need to add them to your diet. Some of the cruciferous vegetables includes cauliflower, cabbage, broccoli and brussels sprouts. Take unpasteurized organic yoghurt that has active cultures. If however you are allergic to dairy products, you need to avoid it. Adding raw, crushed garlic to your food can be very beneficial as well.

As you crush garlic, an enzyme called allicin is released. Allicin has antifungal/antimicrobial properties which is great for you stomach and intestinal health. Complex carbohydrates is a good choice as they get digested slowly and thus increasing the blood sugar levels, so you should include winter squash, pumpkin, raw apples and sweet potatoes in your diet. Futher more, include foods that are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, like, wild-caught salmon, ground flax seed, fish oil, avocados and sprouted walnuts in your diet. You need to add saturated fats in your diet, like virgin coconut oil, that has antimicrobial properties as well. Drink as much pure water as possible throughout the day, drinking a minimum of 8 glass is required.

Leaky Gut Syndrome Treatment – Food you need to avoid!

There are certain foods that you need to avoid as a part of your leaky gut syndrome treatment. Fungi like mushrooms, wine, fermented cheese, pickled food like relishes, pickled cucumbers and mushrooms need to be avoided. You should not have refined or simple carbohydrates that raises your blood sugar level rapidly, like white flour pasta, white bread, potato chips, sugary soft drinks, crackers, cookies and sugar. Foods that have artificial non-nutritive sweeteners or refined sugar are definitely a no for you. Do not have alcoholic beverages in excess as it hinders the proper functioning of the digestive and immune system thus slowing down the healing process.

Caffeine if taken in small amounts can be good, but too much of it can lead to insomnia and digestive problems. Toxic levels of mercury may be present in deep-sea fish like swordfish, mackerel and tuna, so try to avoid them if you wish to get well from your leaky gut syndrome. If you are suffering excessive pain, severe bleeding or inflammation of the gut, you will likely be prescribed broad-spectrum antibiotics, immunosuppressive drugs and band-aid treatment with corticosteroids. The drugs and treatment prescribed by your doctors will not resolve the problem of leaky gut, if you want more relief and wish to reverse your leaky gut syndrome, then it is very important to keep a check on your diet and constantly replenish your intestinal flora to help your gut lining repair and heal itself.
